Since I was a teenager, I liked expressing myself through colorful hair, jewelry, piercings, and eventually tattoos. So much of life is trimmed down, edited, and pruned for societal acceptance and respectability. Harajuku fashion is a rejection of societal norms and conventions, a wholehearted embrace of vivid and vibrant colors and art and a hectic explosion of characters from cartoons and media. As a trans person, this is something I resonate with deeply.

My close friends encouraged me to open this store and to try and share some of these things that I'm passionate about with others. Jewelry has long been a way for people to express themselves in a society that stifles uniqueness. Each piece that I create is a way for someone to express themselves to the world. Pastel goth, black decora, kidcore, cottagecore, or weirdcore are subcategories/adjacent to decora kei. I pull inspiration from all of these genres, it's up to you, like with all artforms, to decide what my individual works mean to you.
